I never understood how this song went to #1 on the country charts, its so different than anything he ever did and its not really country, if they say Strangers not country then how is this country, it seems like he was so big this went to #1 just because it was Ronnie Milsap, however I will say that the chorus might be the best chorus Ronnie ever did, so catchy and its just epic

Pretty sad my mother loved Ronnie Milsap and I grew up listening to this very talented singer for the last 30 plus years. She passed away in September and everytime I hear him it makes me feel so sad but it helps me keep her memory alive. Thanks for posting
