Here's Ronnie McDowells The King Is Gone. I decided to do this tribute slide show to Elvis because of my 11 yr old son. I was playing this song today on media player when I noticed that my son was listening very closely. But what touched me was when I noticed that he was wiping tears from his eyes. I asked him did he know who the song was about. Instead of saying anything he just got up and walked over and pointed at one of my Elvis books.

It's still amazing how people of all ages, especially children are drawn to and touched by Elvis.

Long Live the King.

No one does it better than Ronnie. He respects Elvis. He is not silly. He doesn't say Elvis is alive. We all know he is gone. We still have his songs and his images , and we know he was a good man that loved to help people.

I was 12 years old when i saw on the news the Elvis had passed. I cried for several days as i was and still are a fan of his life and music. Had the privilege of taking my kids to graceland a few years ago. Sharing that with them was amazing. I could have stayed forever!

There should be more tributes to the amazing scientists, doctors and those who help the sick and the poor than they vent to these people who took drugs, were corrupt and made millions of dollars and misspent their lives - the balance is stupid.

sad, that he ruined his life that way with those nasty drugs. and all of the people around him that could have stopped him but only cared about money and not his health.
