Ronnie James Dio was the most brilliant and versatile singer in rock history (in my opinion). It always amazes me how he went from singing '50s style music to singing hard rock/metal. The dynamics in his singing were absolutely incredible. He was an outstanding musician and a really great guy too. RIP Mr. Ronnie James Dio

Ah, *THE PROPHETS !* Ronnie was a Mohammedan operative in is youth. If you parse (if you even know what that word means) the lyric for "Holy Diver," you will see that it is a call for good, red blooded, bong hoovering US teens to join the International Jihad !

no matter what he sang, what band he was in, he had an amazing voice. he was great on stage, was very passionate and had great stage presence. I dont think there is a better all around vocalist. It's a shame he is gone. RIP RJD
