I love it! It got stuck in my head the day of one of my in laws funeral and it explains him so much. "He was a nice man, and I'll tell you." :) RIP Mickey. Your greatly missed.

Paddy Kavanagh spent a lot of time on the Canal Bank on Mespil Road about a hundred and fifty yards from Baggot Street Bridge. Nobody paid much attention to him at the time. It was 1950 and he was not internationally famous at the time. He was famous in Dublin for his Court Case around that time bringing suit against the Irish media who wrote about him. He lost the case incidentally but the publicity which he received was priceless.

Rest in Peace Ronnie Drew. I had the misfortune of not finding him until he was already gone... But I have enjoyed his music every since I found it. His voice was so heartfelt and it makes you feel good inside. I will pass his voice on to all that I know. The beloved Dub will not be lost in time. I swear to it.

Mr. Drew reminds me of Johnny Cash. A voice composed of a trillion, yet significant, individual attributes that contrive an unmicicable, uncontestable, unforgetable vocal ballet. This is a voice that can adamize a timeless legacy. R.I.P Ronnie Drew, you have achieved immortality.
