Dick Clark passed away April 18, 2012 the age of 82. I am posting this video both in tribute to him and also for my friend Ronnie Dove. Ronnie performed his #54 Billboard Hot 100 hit Hello Pretty Girl on Dick Clark's American Bandstand on January 9, 1965, the day Hello Pretty Girl debuted on Billboard's Hot 100. He also performed his earlier hits, Say You and Right Or Wrong on the show. If you happen to catch Ronnie Dove in concert these days, he still puts on a fantastic show and you won't leave disappointed. You can check his concert schedule at his website, www.ronniedove.com. You can also purchase this video clip (and many others) from Ronnie on DVD's that he sells at his shows.

For this specific youtube video, however, I carefully synced up stereo audio from one of my vinyl LP's with this song on it, to the original audio from the video and replaced the audio in the video. Pretty cool to see a live clip of this song, especially in stereo.... hope you enjoy!

In the mid 60's he was in a concert with a bunch of other famous people, Jackie Deshanon, Peter and Gordon, Mel Carter, Paul Peterson, the Ink spots (I think), and many others. It was at night and on the side(outdoors) of a bowling alley. I will always remember that concert and that night! I was invited back to the hotel to party with them and I seriously will never forget what a great bunch of people. I was a junior in high school. The concert was called "The Shower of Stars"

please post those..this is the only video of Ronnie during the 60s. There is one video that shows about 30 seconds of his Ed Sullivan performance but it then cuts to him today. Posting those videos would be appreciated by me and all Ronnies fans.

We have all of Ronnie's other Bandstand appearances except the 1969 episode where he sings I Need You Now.

This video is posted with the permission of Ronnie Dove, who supplied the original video footage and I replaced the audio. Ronnie and I have not been able to locate Ronnie's 1969 Bandstand appearance but I am looking for it. We have the Ed Sullivan appearance, and I had that posted on youtube once but Sofa entertainment had it pulled. We do not have copies of Ronnie's appearances on Shivaree, Where The Action Is, or the Mike Douglas show, but if anyone has these please contact me.
