Ronee Blakley's performances always draw you in. She's a terribly underrated singer/songwriter.

Her album Welcome should have been a huge record. It's a nearly flawless folk (Americana?) record. I love it!!

Warners is so wrongto take her videos down. Nothing is done to promote her old classics. She is a treasure.

Shortly after seeing the movie Nashville when it opened in Chicago and falling in love with Ronee Blakely on the screen I saw her at a small club west of the city called Harry Hopes. She gave an outstanding performance and Willie Dixon played that night too. It was a spectacular evening. She was so hot and had a powerful voice. We saw Tom Waits there fairly frequently around that time too and downtown at the Quiet Knight. Good times!

True but she is talented, and true talent never dies. She will always have a devoted and loyal following.
