I kinda lose the interest in thi "music" when you have to use 5 min explaining some wierd tone system. You can't think music like that, music should be felt and is an expression of feeling.. not a math class...

How exactly did he get that order for the twelve tone circle? It doesn't seem random due to each note having a minor second as the number in the next sequence, therefore it isn't random as it has a pattern, but the preceding not relationship is not a continuous pattern. How the hell did he derive that sequence?

Maybe I got it wrong, but as far as i got it, while using the 12-tone system you're supposed to use bunch of tone rows, created from an original row, and never repeat a note until a certain row has been played through... What this guy is doing is great, but it still sounds way too coherent for being created using a strict 12-tone system...

What a strange and interesting technique. WAY over my head.

Even in my expeditions through music I have never found something so complex in theory. This is actually too far over my head.

Huge fan of Bobby Jarzombek here. Just want to say Bobby and his bro Ron are absolute masters... John Petrucci can't touch this guy in terms of music theory and execution. Used to be a big DT fan but good lord the Jarzombeks are on another level entirely. Such a privilege to watch both of them! As far as Ron's stuff, I'm familiar with this song from the Blotted Science album but the whole circular pattern of notes still blows my mind!

Kind of reminds me of Animals As Leaders mixed with "recent" King Crimson

My question is how do you arrive at the original sequence/12-tone key? For me, that is the hardest part. Any tips?
