This is a perfect song for the veterans of war. Its lyrics perfectly describe the ptsd many of them experience.

Saw this movie on TV when I was about 10 and was fascinated by the opening sequence with the fall of Saigon. Brilliantly re-created I think! Rest of the film is a shocker though

I can' find the lyrics on the web, so I tried to write them by myself but I don't understand every word.May be someone can help me. On the streets of the city chaos is king The world is on fire as freedom takes meFighting is over but the war’s just begunIts the end of the props In the chains that we‘ll come-- no medal’s no ribbons-- no welcome in grace-- It is a lonely road home -- and I emptied my spade-- now I say a prayer for those that remain and I wonder ?will they ever find freedom again?my body is tired but my heart aches for youbut it's over those “yo” country ?And the weak what you do We shall agreed Now i say your pain and i wonder will you ever find freedom again, and i wonder will you ever find freedom again, will you find freedom againFrom the wings of the phoenix and looked down belowthe jungle still bleed and the river still goes the dead and the wounded and the fatherless childare quickly forsakenwith fear running wide/out?The battle is over but one flag still fliesits the love of freedom i see in your eyes.when brother fight brother no one can wini wonder, will you everfind freedom againand i wonder will you ever find freedom again, now I wonder, you love, I will, I wonder will you ever find freedom again... No medals no ribbonsno welcome in graceit's a lonley road homeand I emptied my spadenow i say a prayerfor those that remainand i wonder will you ever find freedom againIt would be nice if someone would complete this ;)Thx
