The anime was a perfect touch of everything -- the drama, the tragedy, the laughter... It is a truly phenomenal anime. Many underestimate it because of where it was rooted from.Romeo x Juliet had a wonderful story, rich characters, beautiful art and songs. Even years after I originally watched this, I still cry over Romeo x Juliet's love. And believe me, I didn't cry when I read the original Romeo and Juliet - I thought it was stupid. But the anime seemed to give more life and meaning to the story.
