Feather River Canyon is a hell of a long way around. I used to go that way when Donner would close. You can't be over 65' long though. I used to pull a 45' flatbed through there. Rainy dark windy road. Every time I miss trucking I look at the traffic cams on Donner and watch the 4 wheelers pinballing of each other and the snow banks. Miracle I managed to get through there so many times with no wrecks.
