I've played with him, and though he tends to be a bit full of himself at times, no one does Chuck like Chuck. No one does Chuck better than Chuck and no one does the duck walk like Chuck, if anyone else has even attempted it. The Beatles do the best on Lennon/McCartney songs. No one can touch 'em there.

I am not a music historian, but you just get the feeling that this man and this song changed the face of Western culture in one fell swoop. If there ever was a "culture coup", then this was it. Chuck Berry made the the door and then opened it, all the Beatles and others had to do was to walk right in. The rest is history.
