SOLD OUT Show of over 12,000

Roger Hodgson Co-founder of Supertramp, and his beautiful gem of a song "Rosie Had Everything Planned". This performance was jaw dropping. It was like turning the clock back 30 years. Roger's voice was better than it was in Supertramp's heyday. Wow what an amazing world tour this year. Roger is performing with band, unplugged and orchestra, can it get any better? When Hodgson walks on stage he is greeted with thunderous applause, a clear indication that he was beloved by the crowd.

Roger Hodgson co-founded the band Supertramp in 1969. He is considered the "voice of Supertramp" serving as the lead singer and writer of nearly all their hits throughout their peak of popularity in the seventies and early eighties. He left Supertramp in 1983 and he has had a series of critically acclaimed and successful solo albums.

Fans all over the world haven't been happier that the songwriter and mastermind behind the songs we all love is out there performing his enduring songs, putting smiles on many faces and bringing joy to many hearts. I love reading what fans have to say about his shows!

"Released in 1971, 'Rosie' is 41 years old but it sounds as if it could have been written yesterday. And Roger sings it better now than 41 years ago. What an amazing artist, no wonder every year thousands and thousands of people travel round the world to be able to see his live shows. He deserves all this love from his audience and more. He is a humble, intelligent man with an amazing musical culture and talent, an amazing voice."

"Roger having listened to your music for over 30 years now, I find myself more moved and further enriched by your music as the years go on. Your music is endless. I have to say you are a true reflection of your music. An Inspiration. Sing on."

"The words to the songs are timeless. Roger is the supreme composer and lyricist. His words take you away on a journey and bring you back a better person."

"You have been an important part of my life for more than 30 years and still continue to inspire my creativity, open my heart, and guide my spirit."

great early supertramp tune from indelibly stamped. fun fact: aside from the first album (in which each song is credited to davies/hodgson/palmer), this is the only hodgson-era supertramp song not credited to davies/hodgson. it was cowritten by frank farrell, who was the bassist on the indelibly stamped album. farrell played piano and accordion (and sang the harmony vocal, i believe) on the recording. the song is credited to hodgson/farrell, and was written on the day farrell joined the band.

#Bossadude, In answer to your question as to what album this was on, I first heard this song in the 80s on a cassette tape titled Indelibly Stamped.

I don't know what Ricks problem is, but taking a band out without Roger and calling it Supertramp is silly, especially now that he actually wanted to rejoin. And he should hold out an olive branch sooner rather than later. At some point people won't care anymore, in part because Rogers solo shows are so great.
