I used to know Roger many years ago. Thoroughly nice chap, liked a drink, and, if memory serves, used to own a boat called 'The Laughing Parson'. As well as his hauntingly exquisite music, he used to make, for his own amusement, tapes that were virtually radio plays, where he'd be every character - I heard some, and they were very amusing. The one I recall was a pastiche of the then new UK soap opera 'Eastenders', simply titled 'Enders'. Very funny indeed. I still prefer his music, though.
