From his albums 'Jewel In The South' and later 'Small Worlds' probably the best new country song ever written. Covered later by the also very excellent Tim McGraw who had a massive #1 hit with this track. Written by Rodney Crowell and Will Jennings. Produced by Rodney Crowell and Tony Brown. This is the last of my Country uploads for a time, no copyright infringement is intended, just sharing great songs and artists of the 1990's. Country series 59 20/20. I was so careful not to make a mistake on the lyrics of my fave country song and guess what I did make one, should read 'journey starts' and not 'journeys start'. Might as well end it now !!

The original and beautiful video from VEVO :-

@BABSINUK - This is probably my fave ever country song, the original here beats the big hit for me, though I do like both artists. Just doing requests now, if I have them on file. You have a good week, take care, Steve

@NourNZ - That is so gratifying to hear Noor. I am taking a break now, but don't worry am sure you will return. It will give you time to sift through the many Country tracks here and on the other channel. Please Remember Me is just class, I never ever tire of this song, last track on my Desert Island Discs, a top ten always in my book. Appreciated all your comments, Steve.

Hi Steve, another beautiful song with the means of a the odd tear. I am constantly awed by your choice of musos and singers. You have given me a lot hours of pleasure listening to your choices. Thank you my friend. Noor
