Sorry folks, Rod sings fine here, but you really should hear him do this on Jeff Beck's 'Beck Ola' album. If you want to hear how this song 'can' and 'should' be played, that's the one. And when you hear it you'll get a sense of where Led Zeppelin were coming from... because 'Truth' and 'Beck-Ola' essentially served as a template for that band (Page and John Paul Jones both guest on 'Truth; page is uncredited but played rhythm on and produced 'Beck's Bolero'. 'Beck Ola'... you've gotta have it.

I love rod stewart but this is no where near as good as elvis. Elvis had a much deeper voice than rod, suited him much betta !!!xx

Interesting! Stewart is a very good artist BUT its dangerous to try an ELVIS song like this one! Everybody looks like beginners compared to the KING!
