The song is "All In The Name Of Rock 'N' Roll" and it was written by Rod and featured on his 1975 album, 'Atlantic Crossing', produced by Tom Dowd.

The slideshow was created by me using various photos found on the Internet, featuring only Rod or Rod with fellow musicians. They include: Slash, Elton John, Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor, David Bowie, Robert Plant, Robert Palmer, Marc Bolan, James Brown, Tina Turner and Stevie Nicks, as well as of course: Ronnie Wood, Jeff Beck and Rod's other bandmates past and present.

It's amazing how hard it is to find photos of Rod that aren't spoiled by a watermark and don't feature one of his ex/current wives, girlfriends, dates, fiancées and whathaveyou. Seriously, he always seems to have a girl draped over him or at least in the very near vicinity, with the exception of onstage (and even then, sometimes) or on album covers (and then sometimes, too). I think the back of Britt Ekland's head got into one of the shots which was inevitable really.

That being said, there's still a lot of great Rod pictures out there and this is just a nice sampler.

I do not claim to own the song or any of the images and would post all the sources but I used over a hundred photos so instead, feel free to request photo sources and I will provide them as soon as I can. If you see a photo you own the rights to that you do not wish to be included in the video, please notify me and I will remove it promptly.

Thank you for watching, if anybody enjoys this I'll make one with photos of Rod and his women (much easier, methinks).

;-D

Oh... and up with Celtic

I agree there's a similarity and I like both Rod and Roger but once you get to know them both (not literally, of course) you see they are very different too. :)

@MrDreamturkey Thank you again and I certainly agree that it is a great song. I find that (and I'm not talking about you) if people would stop being closed-minded, then it's possible to find at least one Rod Stewart song that they'd like (and the same is true for quite a few band/musicians). Anyway, thanks again and have a nice day. :)
