This hit from Rockwell was heard on the Miami Vice episode, Rites of Passage, which aired on February 8, 1985. MV is one of my all time favorite shows. It was the first combine MTV with police action drama. And all young girls who want to be models and/or actresses should watch this episode. There are some real sleazy characters out there, as that girl found out the hard way.

I was born in the late 80s and I remember listening to somebody watching me when I was growing up in the 90s the good old days.

Wow, good ear, they do sound a lot alike, with Shalamar being slightly more funkier :P
