@I3lindGuardian Hi, I worked with Russell @ Medieval Times back in the 90's and he would just belt something out in song, And I'll tell ya', he is a natural singer. Effortless and most impressive. I did kick his ass in a game of chess though. hehehe.. Wonder if he ever got better at that???12 years ago

@I3lindGuardian I think when he talks about natural ability he means he doesn't actively think about the act of singing but the end product. By that i mean there is no need for him to adjust technique to achieve things but to adjust his attitude to it. YOu see this in loads of fields. I teach skiing and sometimes you have to explain the technique side to someone for them to get it and sometimes it is just the end result. I don't think having naturally flexible technique makes you better however.13 years ago

I dislike when people use the term "natural"...there is nothing natural about constantly practicing and trying to emulate great singers. It just gets irritating and dissapointing to hear people act like they were given a gift from God that you will never be good enough to posses...Anyway interesting video!13 years ago
