Seems this influences the song in 1951 Rocket 88 by Jackie Brenton backed by Ike Turner's group The Kings of Rhythm but credited as the Dixie Cats.  Good Jump Swing Blues beat.  Rocket 88 could have been the first rock and roll record

wow, I have been listening to Pete for years, and this is some insane shit. He is playing like his life depends on it. I'd say this is prime recording for him. Much more agressive and direct than the WWII era stuff which is smooth first and foremost.
