I honestly like Run, it feels way more cohesive than the last album. I love both to death, but this feels more like a single peice, rather than a compilation disc...8 years ago

I can't disagree with the rating. It's a solid offering on it's own, but when you factor in the pressure of following up Megalythic Symphony and the bands incredible rise to fame from their live shows it makes it an even better sophomore album. Let me be frank and state that the album is not as good as Megalythic Symphony and I think that's what some people are going crazy about. It's a different album and sound in many important ways, but that's part of what made me warm up to the album so much after a few run throughs, no pun intended. I truly think that this was the best direction for Bruno and the band. To expand their sound and display a new ability to reach fans. Too me, they did that very successfully with Run and I can't find any fault in the album other than it's not Megalythic Symphony. Great album and a good review, my friend.8 years ago

There are like 2 review videos on YouTube (that I know of) for this album. In one video the guy expressed mostly hate towards this album, and the comment section was filled with a bunch of people who disagreed with the critic who just absolutely loved the album (including me) and then I find this video, which he rated this 10/10 (I totally agree with that rating) yet the comments in this video all disagree for the most part and say they don't like the album. THANK GOD! I`m not completely crazy for loving this album. I love the feel of it, sure there are a couple songs I don`t care for as much "Lie Love Life Love, Woman Woman" are the only two, but I love this album its the best to come out in years and I pray that we get more like this. I can't agree fully on this. A few tracks on this (Run, Hollow Moon, Kooks, Windows) are great, but there are too many slower tracks that stop the album's momentum dead in its tracks (I am, Woman Woman, Headrest), and Drinking Lightning certainly can't hold a candle to the amazing album-wrapper that was Knights of Shame. I think making this album more personal hurt what made Awolnation so fascinating, the strength and insanity of Megalithic.9 years ago

I dont like at is as much as Megalithic Symphony, there are too many of those "peaceful moments" that make the album almost boring, I think it could have been balance better. Although the more I listen to it, the more it grows on me9 years ago

for me as a swiss guy who just knew "sail", i was stoked to see their performance at greenfield festival 2014. but i was so disappointed i left after just 2-3 songs :/ maybe they're no great live band, who knows?9 years ago
