I'm not sure if you know where I'm coming from, so let me be clear. I'm not concerned about anything but the message in which it sends. No one is perfect. He admitted he had naked women running around in his video at the advice of someone else. For shock value. Which means to gain attention. So who's attention was he trying to get? Trust me I'm not judging Robin, I listened to this man when he was riding a bike with long hair. So I know his music well. While the song is catchy It's a new Robin.

One song does not mean he has to be about that one song. As far as how God would feel about Blurred Lines, I often question how he would feel about a lot of gospel artists and pastors. Robin says that when he went into the studio, he did not expect the song to bow up. He just wanted to make a un song. Where all of this rape talk, or perception of rape, is coming from is beyond me. If we're going to be upset about the video and song, the same can be done for what's aired on television.

The bible says what is a man to gain in the world, but to lose his soul. Never sell yourself short just to gain popularity. Let's see I wonder just how God would enjoy Blurred lines.. Right.. So again the song is one thing, the video is another. I believe music doesn't have to be all about God to teach love. But chicks running around naked in a video is not who Robin Thicke was. But I guess it's now who he is.

Robin has been around a long time. Sometimes as an artist, and unfortunately because of the tendency of the music industry to favor more 'skank' than substance, you do what you need to do to get noticed. The blessing to come out of 'Blurred Lines' could be more people discovering Robin Thicke, the man who has put out such wonderful music in the past, but never received recognition for it. 'Blurred Lines' doesn't have to mean he's left his 'roots.' I'm sure he'll return home eventually!
