The screams Plant does on this song (at 2:44 & 3:44) have got to be the most intense I've ever heard. They top Paul McCartney's in "Helter Skelter" and the Who's in "Won't Get Fooled Again."

I used to love "Manic Nirvana" and to a lesser extent "Now and Zen" when they came out (I was a teenager) - recently bought the "Nine Lives" box set and, funnily enough, those were the two albums which I found it hardest to listen to. The big '80s overproduction has NOT aged well. (That said, the guitar on this track is brilliant...)

I first heard this while at college in Glasgow, in a bar with more holes in the cushions than all the residents in any 2 month period.It was a little rough for sure.But what an epic tune. Rock on Robert Plant!
