Listen up youth of today and aspiring "pop stars". You see this chick singing with Robert Palmer? She has her CLOTHES ON. See Robert Palmer? The man could sing, wasn't the best dancer but - HE COULD SING. Tired of half naked people on the telly with no talent. Pffft.

He's got to be Drunk in this performance. Just based on the others, he seems more aware.

She is singing the melody, he is singing counterpart. She should be the primary vocal.

@AlandChrissy They changed vocal parts so his part would stand out. Check both originals . The other by Cherelle

2 things: 1) They pitched the song up in this duet, only the key they transposed to lead to some "uncomfortable" chords, that's why this whole thing sounds so unsettled. 2) It's pretty clear they're having monitor or sound bounce issues. That's 100% on the sound engineer. Ever listened to someone singing with headphones on? It's pretty bad right? That's in effect what happens when your sound engineer fails and you have a bad monitor mix. Even the most accomplished singers will sound like crap.
