There are plenty of musicians who play the blues just as good as eric, if not better..Eric Clapton is one of my favorites, but so is Jimi Hendrix/BB King/Led Zepplin/The Doors- just too name a few...and besides, rap-rock and r and b all have the same type beat rythmn rhymn..So what are you trying to say here?? Blues gets boring me. Why ? Because it s always the same : Verse, Chorus,Verse, solo , Chorus, second solo, verse - c-Part, Chorus . Coole Fender, cooler Typ , wow, cooler sound but, boooring. In other words you only need one Eric Clapton LP called Just One Night - nothing else But please - spend your money for all those similar blues shit - thats my opinion after 45 years. Ah, Reggae is exactly the same.
