He is an incredible performer. It's a shame he didn't break through in the US. I just don't think his music style is as "American" as Adele, U2, and some of the other European artists that have made it here. However, having recently discovered him, he appears to be an incredible performer. I can see why he's so huge everywhere else in the world. Our loss, I would go see him in concert in a minute!

It may look like he does this with such ease, but underneath he doesn't. The success he had in UK, Europe, South America, etc took a huge toll on him physically & mentally. After l early album release & minimal touring, he decided it would not be good for him to put in all the work it would take to "break America".
