I liked what you said about composition - composing your original pieces -on the Tedxtalks. The Chapman Stick makes four minutes seem like a very long time - a whole lot of music being played... (and we aren't even hearing it in stereo) ... so your composing is like in a round. All that wonderful moving bass side fingering is so impressive... but gets to be dizzying. Playing alone you start with rhythm, then a bass solo melody before starting the melody side, then do a section of chording, then arpeggio, then a rhythm section... the melody line comes back three times? or you are not really thinking in melody?
