The reason why the crowd is so unresponsive is because this time last year, they weren't as well known. I've seen them 5 times, and obviously the people who know who they are, are going to be responsive. This was before fame found its cause for them, if you look at this performance compared to this years performance at Summertime Ball you will see the difference in crowds. MAMBH was a massive song last year, but not everybody knew it.
