I was the 1st. Assistant Cameraman on this Video and we wrapped at 6.30am after shooting all night. I fell a little bit in love with Siobhan as the night progressed...I worked on so many Promos in those days-most bands I have forgotten, never this one. I actually bought the album I was so impressed with them. They should have gone onto greater heights....

Saw them at the NEC supporting Fleetwood Mac back in 1987...usually you only are half listening to the support acts but in this case I have to say i was completely taken aback by the quality of the music to be honest I thought they were almost on par with FM. From then on I was hooked, and their album 'Say Something Good' is absolutely brilliant!! which I bought a few days later. I thought these would go far but they just seemed to sink back into the shadows...a real shame!!!.

First heard this when standing on the Kop and George was promoting it - bought it that week and me and our kid played it to death. Saw them live twice. Could never understand why they didn't make it - great album. Even got to speak with Siobhan at the Barbacoa in Crosby years later and told her the same thing - she was very sweet and appreciative. Wow 23 years - where did they go? Walking On Ice a killer. Thanks Siobhan - from NS Canada.

It is indeed a brilliant song. I went to college (we played in the same football team and he was a greedy bugger!) with Tim in the early 80's and he was always determined to make it with a band. he had a band called 'Nothing to Declare' who I saw live - one of the songs was called 'Down at the Kwiksave'. I kid you not. Buy the 'Speed' album if you can - it's superb. Four star review in 'Q' magazine and features the gorgeous 'Good luck charm'.

I hope i'm right in thinking Siobhahn used to stand in for Andy Crane on Children's BBC during the summer holidays in 1987, or I might be thinking of someone else. Great track and happy memories of the 80's.

It's hard to believe this is 23 years old. Bloody hell. 23 years old!!!! I was 15 when it came out but 20 when I discovered the album and it still remains one of my favourites to this very day.

beautiful song, beautiful memories, Liverpool was on its arse in the 80s (was it ever anything different?), but the music and the spirit was very much on its feet. Anyway, I remember standing next to Siobhan Maher in the Lomax one night and thinking I'd gone to heaven :)
