Rita Coolidge performs "We're All Alone" live at the Farm Aid concert in Austin, Texas on July 4, 1986. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

she is behind the music, because she is listening to something in her little ear piece that we can't see, you know? I completely understand what Maria Helena is saying and I agree, she even starts to laugh toward the beginning of the song. Pretty crappy rendition if you ask me. Ahh the 1980s' even the great Rita Coolidge in all her glory could not keep "80-ism" at bay. She DID try though, and thats more than I can say for a WHOLE lot of other sell out, plastic coated bands. Journey anyone?10 years ago
