Rise Up, Shepherd -- A Multitrack Collaboration

Read ** The five of us have never met in person before, but thanks to talent and technology we are able to bring you this Christmas song.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!

Simon Rylander sent us an email and asked us if we wanted to do a 5 part multitrack collaboration. All of us were eager to do so. After all, who would pass at a chance to do a multitrack with FineyLeee, the multitrack originator! After several takes and uploads, Simon did the final mixing and mastering and sent the audio to Mike Beck. Mike did the video editing and final video. It was a blast to work with these guys and I am truly blessed to have met them, if only online. We hope to meet in real life someday!

Here's the lineup!

Solo: Simon Rylander (http://youtube.com/FineyLeee ) Sweden

Bass: Josh Chevalier (http://youtube.com/bordonthestreet ) Halifax, Nova Scotia

Baritone: Vance Perry (http://youtube.com/vanceperry ) Dallas, Texas

Low Tenor: Sonny Vande Putte (http://youtube.com/sgtsonny ) Belgium

High Tenor: Mike Beck (http://youtube.com/virtualbeck ) Nashville, Tennessee

The song was arranged for choir by Leonard Ballantine and adapted for Northern Lights by Steven Armstrong.

Learning tracks to this song can be purchased on Simon Rylander's learning tracks webpage, http://www.sunshinetracks.com .

We hope you enjoy! Merry Christmas and have a safe and happy holiday everyone!

A superb presentation, indeed. Congrats to you all. I would like to know also, if possible, the name of that progressive-rock closing track at the end, when you present the credits, please. Thank you in advance.

INCREDIBLE multi-national quintet. Were you all ever in one room together .... or did each record their part in their own location? Great arrangement - great singing. Love it !! Love it!!

We tried to do justice to this song (although this is the pinnacle of greatness) on my channel. Check it out!

@nzbbs We're not twins :). Weird enough I do have a twin brother, but even my brother and I don't look as much alike as me and mr. Beck!! We have been called twins before :). Weird huh?

That is a great arrangement. It's a great song, except for ONE BIG THING! It wasn't the shepherds that followed the star. It was the WISE MEN! Wish someone would make a corrected version.
