These guys are great players. The metalcore thing is a little too frenetic for my taste, but that's me. All I'll say about the obvious comparison between this guy and his Dad is that Bruce Dickinson has a super unique voice; you always know it's him, always. His son, while a very good vocalist, sounds like about 10 other vocalists for these kind of bands. Be cool to hear him break out of that mold a bit.

The comparison is inevitable, I know, but he still has its own style. If you pay a good attention it takes you back in 1982 to The Number of the Beast album, but you can still hear a little of "teenager's voice" in it. How old was he then? 22? When I listened to the new song from As Lions I could hear a big difference already and it tends to get only better and better.It's a pity that the band had an end but luckily I had the opportunity to see the band live here in Amsterdam, but I have to say that back then I didn't like that much - I was waiting for his father to play right after it.I have to say that this song or just to see him singing brings a bit of a sadness for seeing we're getting old and soon enough we won't have Iron Maiden anymore.Time flies, but it's always nice to dream about a new Maiden and this boy as the frontman like his father is - at least they look like each other.

Unfortunately, comparisons between father and son are inevitable, but at the same time is so stupid. The sounds are so fuckin' different. Of course you can say what do you think about the music, but without fuckin' comparisons. Just enjoy THIS song or get out. If you don't like it, go listen to Iron Maiden, so easy.

its so funny how people have nothing to do then just trash talk on a band... like shut your mouth and just listen to it instead of trash talking and if you think you beter grab a guitar,bass,drum and a microphone and so your own stuff just to see if its gonna be beter and btw this a good band because im really open minded for all kind of music (metal mostly) so if you dont like it just go see something else and shur the fuck up ....
