Well I've seen it work before, although it was sent in to youtube on some message or something like that and not in the description. Idk I don't really put videos up, so I've never actually used it. And it is tipped towards fair use if you think about :P

You honestly think that works just because you've found videos with that bullshit in their descriptions? This video isn't posted under fair use, it's blatant copyright infringement, like the rest of my videos. Youtube's automatic copyright detection software doesn't read what I put in the description, it just auto-blocks the video, and bans me if I do it enough times.

Because I'm careful with what I upload. I check the status of similar content by the same copyright holder, and then only upload the content if I know it's risk-free... Which none of their new stuff is, hence why I don't upload anything anymore.
