Andy and I recorded some songs from his side project Right Away, Great Captain! back in April 2012 in Alpharetta, GA. Andy performed two songs from his brand new RAGC record and one that is destined to be a new Bad Books song. If you haven't already you should immediately purchase the new record at http://rightawaygreatcaptain.bandcamp.com

Okay don't get mad at me people, Andy Hull is my favorite. but he completely fucked up the verses in this version compared to the original one he wrote, he repeated things he already used that weren't supposed to be there. it's like he forgot how the song went. and i'm really upset by this, somebody needs to listen to both and notice it besides me.

Andy revealed on the Spotify sessions for Bad Books "II" that this song is about Catherine the Great and Peter III. Peter caught Catherine with another man so Peter beheaded the man and made Catherine spend time with his severed head everyday. Andy wrote the song as a back and forth conversation between Catherine and the severed head.
