playing country,bluegrass and gospel music has been a life long dream. at 16 almost 17 i found somebody to teach me to play guitar, In 1999 I was married and I was home alone at the time and I would play ricky on the stereo and play and sing along, What I didnt know is my wife and niece had come home and came in house without me knowing and stood around the corner and listened...then they came out with their jaws dropped and they said I sounded just like him. Flattering but I dont know. been playing for 30 years now, played with a bunch of bluegrass boys, been on stage with camera's in my face, cried while playing will the circle be unbroken, most memoriable moment was playing at a nursing home at Christmas time playing gospel, bluegrass, and Christmas songs, only a few when we started in cafeteria, then it was so packed ya couldnt walk through it, one of the residents got her fiddle out and played along. I have NEVER in my life experience a more joyful wonderful experience, except for when I got saved....Have no idea why I just said all that but I thought I would share, and if I could carry on for him while he lives the way he wants I would

Has always been and will always be my all time favorite male artist, love the gospel album he did, I seen him at the silvis country music festival many years ago, he stood on the stage and told us all how his life was a mess and wanted to end it, how he had a gun locked in a night stand next to his bed on his bus and he had the only key. and one night after his show he went to his bus, unlocked it and the gun was gone. Thats when he said his life took a turn and not long afterwards recorded his gospel album....Thank you Jesus and God Bless You Ricky!!!!
