The thing that I love about Ricki Lee Jones is that she is so truly unique. She does not sound like all the other cookie cut out singers. That is the definition of a real artist.

In all of my long years, I have never listened to a song that reminded me of falling in love that one, true time. I have loved almost all music all of my life, like an addiction. I have had heard very few well-sung, absolutely natural, from-the-gut artistry as hers. Listen to ghost train, or perhaps, if you have the patience, the entire album "Flying Cowboys". That'll learn ya.

Really? This is a great song about ...well if you are to stupid, I'm not going to enlighten you. Fools be gone. Update: That sounded mean, sorry for my wording. ,

Well Maxwell, I'm trying to be generous here, but your absolutely idiotic commentary shows that you should be taken out back and repeatedly beaten with a silver hammer. In fact, silver's too good for you--perhaps a bone with a rock strapped to it would be about right.

Yeah, for the knuckheads who do not appreciate the depth and soul of Rickie Lee's music, here are the words. Probably just like the people who complain at a sunset that they're losing their light with the sun going down. You all are missing the beauty right in front of you!

Like many of you here, I tried for YEARS to figure out what the hell she was saying. Heard this terrible, repetitive, hack song over and over again in grocery stores, pharmacies, department stores... everywhere. Finally was able to decipher one or two lines so I could Google the lyrics. And now - after all these years - I know who to hate. This. Song. Sucks. And her unintelligible, undecipherable, awful terrible crappy lyrics are even worse than I had imagined. Seriously. I hate this song. I've hated it for almost two decades.

All this time, for years i've heard this song. And i could never find who sang. After extensive research and many failed "Shazam" uploads, i am relieved to finally know what she is actually saying.....Satellites.All this time i thought she said "Salads".

Good god this song makes my ears bleed. It plays at my work and I turn the station every time. I can't believe some exec at a record company gave this the green light.

Good pop song! THis album was produced by Walter Becker. He and Rikki have similar backgrounds.
