But when the whistle blows to end the daily fight And the working forces turn out the light Jesse takes that little girl and he holds her tight As the day fades away he says I'm dying for a diet Sprite

Another great album. I remember having this one on 8 track back in the day. Rick is one of my favorite singers/songwriters!! Can't wait to see him on Oct. 1st. IT will be the first time in 25 years. I'm way overdue for a Rick fixx.

The thing about this song, in addition to being a nice sequel to Jessie's Girl, is that the backup vocal performance is outstanding. RS always had great studio sounds and this early recording shows where he was going.

One of the most underrated artists....I LOOOVE his songwriting, melody sense, vocal timbre, lirycs. etc...I'm a singer and I definitively owe a great deal of my passionate style to the hours I spent learning every vocal lick in his songs... Thanks RS for Great music and artistry!
