They didn't have the kind of technology to correct stuff like nowadays. It would've cost them thousands of dollars to scrap it and start over with one little mispronuounced word.

Yeah, that's true, in Chinese it's "Dow" ☺☻

How could they realase this album when he mispronunciates TAO! The T makes a D sound here the proper pronucitation is "DOW". Great song though.

@bheadh That's why we all have 1 common ground & history : I believe in the truth of the divine revelation and especially in its latest "update", Islam :)

@babydogprotection There are no "coincidences". There are many examples in Chinese pictography that represent the early history of mankind as recorded by "other sources". Especially the Genesis account of it.

@bheadh This character that you described here is the sign of Satan (the devil) himself. It's amazing of which single partial characters it consists and how this describes Satan's nature within the time frame. And yes, he is the biggest evil spirit (jinn) alive until doomsday :( There are more composed characters like that in this video ☺. Personally I liked that song of the 80s, a very special song by Springfield..at a time when I got into Tao De Jing by Laotzi.

@bheadh Yes, you are right ☺. The ancient Chinese people developped their characters from the earliest events occured in history, i. e. whenever an event took place for the first time. Hence, they also know the creation story of mankind (also in old divine recelations of Wujings books, Torah, bible..Quran) and their enemy

The symbol that You use @ 1:28 is the Chinese character for the devil or evil spirit. It shows 2 trees, (tree of knowledge of good and evil and tree of life) below that is the character for "field" or "garden" the characters at the bottom represent a man and woman. (Adam & Eve in the garden) The "covering" portion (side & top) represent the decietful spirit, the dot at the top means it's "alive".

I'm the 5000th viewer. I haven't heard this song since I was a little kid. Great song by such an underrated rock star.
