I was probably the only straight teenage dude in 1999 who loved Rick. I wish youtube had been around then so I could've said that at the time. :)

You guys were great songs in the decade of 80 !!!! My God !!!! A-ha, Bruce Springfield, Stan Bush, Kenny Loggins, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Rod Stewart ....Came an artist, performed a song alone, and this song was topping the charts by time, and even eternalized. It seems that I am old, but with my 27 years I had the great opportunity to get to know these songs, sad not to be at the time was played on the radio, in the ballads. Here in Brazil were also launched too few good songs, but I must admit, the United States in the 80s was my dream of music consumption. Sorry for the mistakes in my English.

Awesome guitar solo by Tim Pierce! The guitar man behind so many of the most popular songs you ever heard on the radio. Do a little research and you wouldn't believe how many of the biggest hits were credited to him. Check out Tim Pierce Guitar on Youtube!

Long live AOR! The '80s and '90s are filled with quality AOR. YouTube is a gold mine! I spend a lot of time on here in my own personal time machine. :-)

Popular music has been in a downward spiral since the 1980s ended.

I first fell in love with Rick Springfield the second I heard Jessies Girl - age 12/1982. It wasn't untili was 16 that I got a "real" job and bought my first album with my own money (back in the day nothing was given to you! ) Living in Oz. My firsttrue love! I met him once, he signed my arm. :::sigh:::

This was about the only Rick Springfield song I ever liked, but I never watched the video. Now I see it as happening next year. Actually, he is 'revived' next year. The little critters who came in there, the jawa-things, they are what we are supposed to be, I guess.

I miss the 80s too, most of todays music just aint music anymore, its like songs are just put out to give radio stations something to play.
