From the CD Thirteen Cities

I fucked up again

I barely know where I am

I'm sorry I ain't called you in days

Maybe I'll never get over Wes and the hospital

And now I don't even have bus fare home

I'm lost in this world

Maybe it's my skin it's too thin

maybe it's my heart that always caves in

But I fucked up again I barely know who I am

I'm sorry for all the things I haven't done

I'm just lost in this world

Hi Ho From The Future

Less than 18000 views in more than five and a half years is some sort of crime, somehow, surely, is what I'm thinking right about now...

It was once said of Ralph Emerson that he was the 'Sage of ordinary days.' Willy Vlautin is the blue jeaned, cigarette stained, empty whiskey bottle 'sage of ordinary days' for his own personal America, riding a lost train-track that runs through all of us.
