You should check out Richie's last solo album. It's one of my all time favorites. I am older and that album appealed more to me and he sounded a bit more mature vocally which I prefer. But I like all his music. I'm a fan of each Bon Jovi band member. David Bryan's solo piano album is pretty cool too and I believe he wrote his own music as well. Check them out.

Jon's Young Guns album wasn't really an "album" because it was actually a movie soundtrack. I'm sure Jon wouldn't write 12 cowboy songs in the same album. So you can;t really compare their albums. In my opinion Richie's solo works are a bit better than Jon's.If you listen to songs like "Ballad Of Youth"or"Stranger In This Town" they are absolutely amazing.I still feel they both are best when they're together. I'm extremely proud of richie,this album is honest and soulful.anyone can relate to it
