So you thought I'd stop dealing in audio, maybe put up an actual video? Well, then, you thought sadly wrong. See, I believe that Stranger in This Town is an unheard-of album that deserves its credit where credit is due, and so, YouTube, ol' Richie gets free advertising, I get nothing, and you, you don't have to throw up a "copyright law" on me because you think that's the right thing to do. So after all's said and done, this is the first track on the album, Rest In Peace.

This is still one of my favourite albums, especially side one, you need to listen to this and church of desire together, the way they blend into each other is superb. Great vocals and guitar.9 years ago

some people would say this is a just another nice and slow ballad but for me this one in particular is a very but very powerful song..the mix between guitar solos, richie's voice (for me better than bon jovi's voice) and the sweet keyboard melodies are simply in perfect harmony is the perfect song11 years ago

Really classy stuff on offer here. This track, Church of Desire, One Light Burning, Ballad Of Youth, and the title track make "Stranger In This Town" a truly great CD that stands up well to the regular Bon Jovi catalog. Richie also cut a great cover of Hendrix's "The Wind Cries Mary" during these same sessions. It ended up on the Ford Fairlane soundtrack..11 years ago

To me this album is the best album ever made, I mean, it's my favorite album. I'm a Bon Jovi fan, love their music I mean, but what he did on his solo albums was amazing. Went to see him in Paradiso/Amsterdam, also one of the best concerts ever !!! Too bad he never made another one, it seems they were not commercially succesful, but that don't mean they're not good.13 years ago
