Great song well executed, but that James was a bit of a p***k though. Yes he gave her the keys - but Black Lightnings don’t have keys! And, just quietly, they don’t have pillion seats either. So what did he really give her?I can identify with it though – I had a 55 Black Shadow and, amazingly, my girlfriend at the time was a redhead. He reckons nothing beats a (52) Vincent and a red headed girl, but I was lucky enough to live the dream and I can tell him that while a Vincent (WITH a pillion seat!) and a redhead are exquisite they don’t compare to a Ducati 916 and being single! I would consider swapping with being 19 but.PS: Whilst I'm sure there must be several, I only met one woman that could actually start a Vincent, so Molly would have her work cut out for her, although I’m sure she’d manage. That’s until the police confiscate the thing under the proceeds of crime legislation. But, after having re-purchased it at the police auction using her life savings then never being able to start it without help, the bullshit James gave her about the keys, the fact that he’d virtually pinched the thing and not to mention memories of hanging off the back of a single seat with no pillion footpegs, she flogged it off in the Saturday classifieds and bought a Volvo.I do think there’s another song in it.
