To think that this had to be videoed just a few months or less before Rich's death in September 1997. What a precious video to be able to see. And to think that, not long after this, Rich could sing to his Savior at His feet, face to face. :-)

I wish I'd had seen him in concert. Great song, great singer, the most honest Christian writer I've heard.

Who in the world is voting down Rich Mullins? These videos are such a treasure and I am thankful that other people have uploaded so many hours of his live performances. I never got the chance to see him live and his talent shines through so much in these performances than it does on his studio albums, where sometimes the production masked the genius. I miss him.

Rich is with my mom. Give her a hug, Rich! Jesus called them both to Him. Thank you, Jesus for the gift of her love and his voice.

He definitely left a legacy behind..., the same as Keith Green, Larry Norman...These guys were no "main-stream"....Only God knows why he had to take them away....Humanly speaking it would seem like we really needed them here, but they are in a much better place.

@Lfydrw as I've been doing some household chores and listening to Rich Mullins music this morning, I asked Jesus to say "hi" to him for me. What a brother!

Here is one who didn't care for his status as a celebrity, but look at him sing, he's trying to connect with the people in the audience with the message. Powerful how sincere, honest, and selfless he was...

@chasinherhorse - :) Rich said he got that a lot, girls coming up and saying "I'm your soulmate!" or "God told me we are supposed to get married!". I think a lot of it was just confusion with "Rich Mullins" the public guy and who he was, who his friends and family saw. (They weren't even allowed to call him "Rich", he would gently correct a young family member for addressing him as "Rich") i do agree that it was def. God's plan for Rich to stay single. He was able to do so much more!!

Rich wore himself out for God I'd say, and he is very much missed this side of heaven. I am really looking forward to knowing more of him when that time arrives.

@chasinherhorse I have felt that way myself at different times. But, for some reason, the Lord wanted Rich to be single.
