Again "often" contradicts doesn't quite do what you've said here justice. Good luck.

Glad you finally understand that music is based on opinion and not an "argument" that needs defending as you said earlier. And at no point did I contradict myself. You were doing a fine job of that yourself.

My son's pokemon. This is his account that our family uses. I think our opinions differ too much to have this discussion, you take things too literally and often contradict yourself.

You did when you criticized the song for being "an easy song to play and compose" as if it was a negative quality. And it isn't a difficult argument to defend as music is based on opinion. We can have differing opinions on who is under uppreciated, or who is the worst or the best. There's no right answer when it comes to music as it relies on personal preferences. I only replied to your comment cause of how pretentious it sounded. Stick to your pokemon.

Saying that Rhett Miller is the "most" anything is a difficult argument to defend. I never said that songs had to be difficult to be appreciated.

I was unaware that songs had to be difficult and complex in order to be great and reach people. I guess that's why Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, and Elvis have been forgotten over time....

Geesh, the audience looks like they are judging him harsher than American Idol. The song is one of the most upbeat performances I have ever heard, and they are just glaring at him, almost as if he killed their children before the performance.

"This is a song that was originally about a girl from Peoria pulling out a baby tooth."
