I have some Rex Allen, Jr. 45's from the '70s like "The Great Mail Robbery' from '73, but I don't have this one! This is a great song. I'm going to 'Favorite' this!

This happened to come on my MP3 player dock the other day and the person with me said 'Please play that again and who's singing the song?' Rex Allen Jr is one of the greatest voices to ever grace Country music. Why, I've even forgiven him for not including a name check for Marty Robbins on his 'Can You Hear Those Pioneers!'

@HurtClassic Now I know it! Thank you! It's only now that I've heard Rex Allen's version :).... Thanks again! By the way is there a song "Just For Her", I'm not really sure of the title but it is an instrumental one similar to Nadia's theme, Benjie's theme and Vera's theme I think. Been wishing I could hear this again... also in the 70's

@rvcrose Rex Allen Jr.'s recording is from 1975. Various internet sites that I've found say the Jessica James version was 1976.

Rex should have been a super star. The best there is except maybe for Rex Allen Sr. Two of the best voices ever put on the planet.
