I remember watching it live, I am a huge fan of Dillinger and I was blown away by how different they are from every other band that played there. Soooo good!

yeah, this definitely isn't for everybody. you have to be as fucked up as they are to really enjoy them. but if you're able to do that - stop being human for about an hour or so that is - a dillinger show is an experience of a lifetime.

Hmm can someone explain to me what kind of genre is this? I've heard of DEP,I was curious so I check them out. I like the energy, but I can't relate to it.

ive seen DEP 6 times now...pretty much at a new venue each time and every time the live perfromance is so spot on and killer!!! soooo much energy

Greg talks a LOT of shit about other acts. A LOT. Thing is... these guys are just so obscenely good that they are in a position to do so. Even if you aren't charmed by the vocal performance... the music is so incredibly spot-on. Also... yeah, he did just kinda get a head injury, so if you don't like it.. chalk it up to that.

anyone else think, Greg has small mans syndrome?

You have to give the guy a break for his vocals being slightly off, y'know, seeing as he'd bust his head open a little

The bass and vocals are really loud but you can barely hear the guitar at all.

This band needs to be on +Saturday Night Live NOW. Enough with the shitty pop music and lack luster "Rock N' Roll" bands like fucking Haim. Only good band they've had on in a decade was The Black Keys. Why? Because their music director is a pop music loving PUSSY who's afraid of *real* Rock N' Roll.

Everyone is complaining about this performance on all of the videos of it I've seen lately and you know what, this short set is one of the best live performances I've seen. And I didn't even see it live. The whole thing is fucking ridiculous and even if his voice is tired and the mixing is bad and the crowd is fucking terrible, this is still fucking insane.

The crowd seems like they have no idea what the fuck is going on

While I appreciate the music severely I must say the singer tries a little too hard live.

I just love when people who clearly have no idea what Dillinger is doing try to say they suck. They don't. It's barely even a matter of opinion. They're one of the most forward-thinking and truly innovative bands in music.
