Morris Sound studios is still over on 56th and Fowler. I remember walking in on Kreator recording Coma of Souls in 1990. Best place on earth, way better than disney land11 years ago

I think your question can be answered with another question. does Scott Burns still do production./engineering?? I dont keep up with death metal anymore, but that guitar sound was pretty much synonymous with Scott Burns in the early 90s. and id also add that Resurrection had a sound/style that really brought out the best in this guitar sound - the nice heavy chugging parts and those thick chords ringing out are perfect for that guitar sound (or maybe its the other way around, but..12 years ago
