I think your question can be answered with another question. does Scott Burns still do production./engineering?? I dont keep up with death metal anymore, but that guitar sound was pretty much synonymous with Scott Burns in the early 90s. and id also add that Resurrection had a sound/style that really brought out the best in this guitar sound - the nice heavy chugging parts and those thick chords ringing out are perfect for that guitar sound (or maybe its the other way around, but..11 years ago
