On the the 30th September the late Robin Gibb (Bee Gees's) was honoured by the unveiling of a Blue Heritage Foundation Plaque at his home in Thame Oxfordshire.
Following the unveiling a Charity Garden Party took place in the Garden of Dwina Gibb, Robin's widow. One of Robin's last musical works was a collaboration with his son RJ Gibb - a classical work "Requiem for Titanic". Robin Gibb sadly was not well enough to attend the Performance with the Royal Philarmonic in April.
At the Charity Garden Party Mary-Jess Leaverland performed the poignant song from the Requiem "Don't Cry Alone" and received a standing ovation from RJ Gibb, and guests.
Mary-Jess Leaverland won Min Xing Chang Fan Tian (I Want To Sing To The Stars), the equivalent of X Factor in China. Since then she has gone on to record her debut Album Shine & has supported Russel Watson on Tour.
