What is going on with Kevin Cronin's vocals? It sounds like his nads are being squeezed in a bench vise while singing through his nostrils. Another ONCE distinct voice put to rest. Move over Steve Walsh and Paul Stanley, you've got company.

I can't fight this feeling any longerAnd yet I'm still afraid to let it flowI tell myself that I can't hold out foreverI say there is no reason for my fearAnd ever as I wander I'm keeping you in sight'Coz I feel so secure when we're togetherIt's time to bring this ship into the shoreAnd throw away the oars foreverYou give my life direction, you make everything so clearI believe it's time for me to fly

Further, I can tell you that my 12 string is also tuned to open D, and imitation is the greatest form of flattery, so you go K.C. I'd love to have 10% of your talent. Singer, songwriter and I believe, the driving force behind the best band ever.

I can't help but say that this band is without a doubt the best band in existence today. The first time I saw them was in 1970, in my small town. Back then, Kevin wasn't even there. Since then I have been to 56 live shows, including some in the 80s that sold out entire venues in 7 or 8 MINUTES. I defy anyone to beat them. These guys were and are the absolute pinnacle of arena rock. I remember them playing for almost 100,000 people at once. I am quite secure in my gender so anyone calling me something besides a man can come and try to prove otherwise. The last show I went to I was close enough to Kevin to be able to reach out and touch him if I wanted. Hell, I even shook Brian Hitts hand. Don't like them, just don't listen. I for one would go to an REO show tomorrow if I could.
