From the Good Ol' Days of the BIG - and really long - ending. Great classic tune. Poor director, I bet he could kill the dude who decided to put his chick on his shoulders right in the line of his camera shot of Richrath's solo mark. Never could understand those guys who think that their chick needs to see but nobody else does.

Hall is rocking out on this version. It's fabulous. I never heard this bass line to this song. Other versions are more reserved, he's going nuts on this version. Bad ass.

I've seen REO Speedwagon multiple times, was at the Summer Jam of '79. Weather shortened show because of lightning, thunder, imminent rain, and REO stuck it out well beyond a proper level of safety to deliver to KC what they wanted and that was "Ridin' The Storm Out" under exactly those conditions! Every show was outstanding and a fond memory of mine. Even saw them in Warrensburg, Mo, and saw Kansas at Warrensburg also. People can thank them for their newer Gymnasium in Warrensburg, for the college.

One of my best friends introduced me to REO about 1977 and they have been one of my two favorite bands since. When Kevin Cronin added the VOICE to this band they became even better. They are the BAND SUCCESS STORY of the USA if there ever was one. They have stayed TRUE and TOGETHER now for DECADES and they are GREAT !

Memorial Auditorium, Nashville, '75. Little, twerpy, guy walks out to tell the crowd that J. Geils Band didn't show. Vanderbilt set the gig up with B.B. King and J. Geils. It was funny. The crowd was throwing shit at him while he was trying to explain that there was " another band" that was going to perform. Yeah, near riot, right? I don't think anyone ACTUALLY heard him say, " For your musical pleasure please welcome R.E.O. SPEEDWAGON." The curtains parted, Ritchrath tore up "Like You Do" and the crowd rocked Nashville. Old Kentuckian's great experience.
